Confidence Thresholds
The Confidence Threshold determines the minimum point quality for the scan. Points below the quality threshold will not be displayed.
Points will a lower confidence are less geometrically accurate and can be caused by rapid sensor movement, reflections and bright lights.
The toggle below determines whether the confidence threshold should be used in file exports. If off, saved data sets and exported files will contain all data points regardless of quality.
Setting the Confidence Threshold to High often produces the best scans.
